Psychiatric Coaching is for people with mood disorders and/or their loved ones to receive coaching support in their daily lives.

Coaching takes place on the phone.  It is discrete and easily accessible.

The sole purpose of psychiatric coaching is to help people develop and implement coping skills to overcome life’s daily challenges.

Step 1: Coaching Lessons

Skill development begins with a 50 minute coaching session to teach illness education and coping skills.

We do 50 minute sessions as needed for teaching purposes.

Step 2: Coaching Support

Skill preparation and implementation takes place during a series of available coaching calls.

Coaching calls are 15 minutes long.

Types of Fifteen Minute Coaching Calls:

Centering: Get yourself mentally and emotionally centered before making decisions.

Planning: Coaching call that helps plan responses to life.

Accountability: Coaching call to report achievements and plan the next best step

Urgency: Coaching call that occurs during a stress
