Psychiatric Coaching that takes place in a group of up to eight people with mood disorders, with an available group for their loved ones to receive coaching support in their daily lives.

Coaching takes place on the phone.  It is discrete and easily accessible.

The sole purpose of psychiatric coaching is to help people develop and implement coping skills to overcome life’s daily challenges.

Step 1: Weekly Coaching Lessons With The Whole Group

Skill development begins with a 50 minute coaching session to teach illness education and coping skills.

We do 50 minute sessions as needed for teaching purposes.

Step 2: Coaching Support

Skill preparation and implementation takes place during a series of available coaching calls.

Coaching calls are 15 minutes long.

 

Team Members will be paired up to help each other with homework and practicing coached skills throughout the week.

Centering: Help each other get mentally and emotionally centered before making decisions.

Planning: Help each other plan responses to life.

Accountability: Coaching call to report achievements and plan the next best step
